These people below are in Tijuana, and they are deaf.  They taught me some basic Spanish sign languages.  Mainly, my children's father taught me more hand signs.  But my head is only in English while my hands are signing in Spanish.  Odd.  There are many deaf people living in Tijuana and throughout Mexico's states.  Jeez, they spoiled my kids, eh?  I have noticed many deaf people in Tijuana are similar to American deaf people.  They have set up a special meeting in any restaurant like Denny's (not anymore in Tijuana, they got a fancy restaurant now so deaf people can try to frequent there), or like below in the picture.  They also make home just like American deaf families.  I'm very surprised.  But not all deaf cultures are the same.  Their accents, body languages, rearing idea of their children, religious, sign languages, and their way of lives are not the same as others.
